Okay, this is a real early recording of mine of the great traditional tune ‘Wild Bill Jones’ … there have been many variants of this, I guess ‘Pretty Polly’ is the most famous, and may be more original, but I like this because of the ‘slurs’. First version I heard of this was in open ‘D’ tuning… and that maybe sounds better, but didn’t suit my voice (though not much does, until they invent an ‘X Minor’ tuning).
